This group is for families with children at Columbia Elementary School in Annandale, VA., who are interested in hiking their kids to/from school. Typically, we start at 8:30 AM at Mason District Park, have time to check out the pond and playground, and hike just over a mile to Columbia to be there around 9-ish. Its a great way for kids to start the day! There are no set days. If the weather is nice, there is a good chance that there will be a hike.

What is more fun than a hike with your pup? Not much! We are looking for other dog owners (and dogs) who share an affinity for nature and hiking. The rest we will figure out as we go.

Are you looking for an opportunity to take your Golden or Labrador (or other retriever) hiking and swimming, while burning off energy and hanging out with other Retrievers owners? This is the group for you! We will have occasional hikes that provide an opportunity for the dogs to swim, run through the woods and roll around in smelly things!
