This is a group for New Yorkers who love to get into nature but fall into one or more of these categories: 1) Somewhat daunted by 20 mile, 5000 ft elevation-gain day hikes; 2) New to hiking and camping; 2) Just like to amble along and enjoy the scenery and the company rather than rush to a destination.
