I started this group to meet other people interested in the adventure of Geocaching. The word is a combination of "geo" - geogrophy - and "caching" - a hiking term for concealing and preserving provisions. Since relocating to Statesboro a few years ago and repeatedly inquiring of a mature singles group in town, no dominant name or group was ever mentioned. This group is for anyone interested in camping, short hikes, kayaking, biking, skydiving, nature, oyster roasting feasting, Low Country Boil parties, and outdoor cooking in a camping atmosphere, and other fun activities.
