Valley Tracks is a family friendly hiking club where groups of people will meet on a regular basis to enjoy the outdoors together. This group is not open to the general public. Please do not request to join this group. It is set up as a communication platform for a group of hiking friends. Members are admitted to the group by referral only and must be experienced hikers with a minimum level of physical conditioning and hiking abilities with respect to speed, distance and difficulty of terrain that they are able to negotiate comfortably and safely.

Meet other local hiking enthusiasts as a group of friends exploring, learning, and having fun on the trail and occasionally other ways. Besides hiking we sometimes do: snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, biking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, camping, etc. We range all over CT, central to western MA, and sometimes southern NY. Occasionally we make trips further out typically to central and northern NY, VT, NH, and ME.

THERE IS NOTHING more natural than hiking through nature barefoot. The soles of your feet and toes are wonderful sensory organs and the myriad of feelings from earth, grass, moss, pine-needles, and mud are wonderful. Many could not see hiking any other way.
