I decided to start this group because I love hiking and I love book clubs. This meetup has all the activity of hiking and the great conversations of a book club in one! We read a book, and discuss it during a hike near Boulder. Our hikes are generally easy to moderate, and about 3 miles in length. Feel free to join us even if you haven't finished (or started) the book, but we may spoil the ending! The books are usually literary fiction, but we branch our occasionally. I avoid beach reading, s …

This group is for hiking and exploring the many amazing and beautiful trails in the Front Range area. While many hiking Meetup groups exist already, I find often that hikes are full and/or are not offered as much as I'd like to hike. So- this group will focus on offering great weekend hikes, and also midweek hikes. This not a competitive hiking group. This is not a singles group. If you love to hike and simply enjoy the beautiful area in which we live, this is your group!
This group is designed to get people outside moving in ways not typical or usual. While we may be on a ‘hike’, the intention is to learn more about ourselves and our world thru stillness, movement, mindfulness and exploration. Many of our trips will involve hiking, but there will also be other forms of movement and expression. My intention is to be in less traveled areas, both physically and spiritually. I created this group to offer a different experience then just hiking, taking a more mindful …
