Now that summer is here its time to dust off the tents for some camping. If like me you love to find new and beautiful places to camp in and explore, but perhaps aren't a munro bagger or ice climber then this is for you. A group that will find nice places to go camping; nice walks, scenery and venues with good food and a chance to socialise in the great outdoors.

When we started out, we majored in hill walking, but we now also organise a range of activities throughout the year. Hi all and welcome to mountain skills. I am a qualified mountain leader and I have created this group to run mountain skills sessions. The aim is to teach a variety of work shop type sessions focusing on key areas of mountain safety such as navigation and rope work. Anybody is welcome to join and sessions will be tailored to suit group needs. Please get in touch if there is anything in particular you would like to cover.
