Introduction
I've moved here recently from Germany. I'm up for meeting people while doing what I need to do more--exercise in the sun.
What is your hiking level? (ie how long have you been hiking, how often and what is your typical hiking speed?)

I used to hike with the Sierra Club in California, including hikes where we alternately ran and walked up and down the hills. I couldn't do that right now probably. Maybe just fast walking would get me puffing these days. :-)

What outdoor activities do you enjoy? (See Polls) Hiking, Backpacking, Camping, Bicycling, Kayaking/Canoeing, Snow skiing, Camping, Whitewater, etc)

Bicycling to work and touring in foreign countries.

Where do you live? (For potential Carpool/ride shares) - N Ral, Central Ral, E/SE Ral, W Ral/Cary/Apex, Brier Creek, Durham, Chapel Hill, etc

Durham, near Chapel Hill.

Where do you like to hike?
