"I was born and raised in Raleigh who has transplanted to Johnston County. I spend every weekday in Raleigh with my state govt job, and my family continues to live in Raleigh. I am a former runner and enjoy being outdoors."

What is your hiking level? (ie how long have you been hiking, how often and what is your typical hiking speed?)

"I have been hiking for greater than 10 yrs. I usually hike 3-4 times a year in the Mt. Airy area-Stone Mtn, Cumberland Nob & Hanging Rock in addition to hiking a mile trail in my neighborhood 2-4 times a month. I hike about a 20-30 min/mile."

What outdoor activities do you enjoy? (See Polls) Hiking, Backpacking, Camping, Bicycling, Kayaking/Canoeing, Snow skiing, Camping, Whitewater, etc)

"I enjoy hiking, biking (not competitively) and running. I have only snow skied once but enjoyed the experience. "

Where do you live? (For potential Carpool/ride shares) - N Ral, Central Ral, E/SE Ral, W Ral/Cary/Apex, Brier Creek, Durham, Chapel Hill, etc

"I like hiking in the mountains especially looking for waterfalls but also enjoy Umstead Park & Lake Johnson locally."
