Details
Excellent views of the Champlain Valley and the Adirondacks. Most of the mountain is part of the 1,215 acre Snake Mtn. Wildlife Management Area, so we may see some wildlife. Mtn. is excellent for the first hike of the season. We will meet at the parking lot which is close to the head of the trail.
From the junction of Vt. 22A and Vt. 17 at Addison Four Corners, follow VT. 17 east to a junction on the right with Mtn Road(0.8mi.)
Follow this road south past Whitford Rd. to a parking lot on the right, about 500ft. north of the junction with Wilmarth Rd. (3.5mi.)
Bring a lunch, we will eat at the summit...
