This outdoor group is geared towards the intermediate hiker/snowshoer. Meaning, those people that hike on a regular basis and get regular aerobic activity. There are other meetup groups for beginner or occassional hikers and there are other groups that are more aggressive in their climbs or distance. Typical hikes are 7 - 10 miles in length and around 1100 - 1500 feet in elevation gain at an intermediate pace.

This was so much fun last year we are going to do it again. This is a private tour led by an experienced ranger at RMNP. Last year the talk was focused on ecology. This year the talk will be focused on winter safety, but will also include some discussion about the environment at RMNP and a bit of bushwaking (off trail romping!).
