It's all about enjoying the wilderness! Hiking in the local canyons- mostly in the San Gabriel Mountains. All hikes will be along a stream in a canyon and at a very slow pace with lots of breaks. All hikes will be between 5-12 hours long, usually around 9 hours. The difficulty level is intermediate, but beginners are welcome if they are in good shape and have an attitude of adventure! Safety always comes first, of course.

What members are saying
“ Anne hikes at a pace that you can actually enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and take a couple pics along the way without being left behind in a cloud of dust. ”
“ Fitness hiking is good and great, but a slow poke pace gives all sorts of different opportunities for newcomers to hiking to casual or serious shutterbugs to naturists to birdwatchers, etc., etc. ”
