Sally

This venue has a few loops of trails, so you can walk a mile or 10 depending on what you would like for the day!

There are a few hills. It is dog on a leash friendly. There are outhouses (burrrrrr, only for the brave).

It may be snowshoes but we will have to wait to see what the weather is first....this is Michigan. The last time I checked, you could rent snowshoes at Bill and Pauls on East Paris.

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope to see you all soon!

The address is posted, but really on the NorthEast corner of Honey Creek and Conservation. I will be in the parking lot on Conservation. Hope to see you Saturday! Also, don't forget to check the message board too..I sometimes reply to questions there or start new discussions about the upcoming hike.

You can also rent snowshoes, boots and more at Apex Outdoor Gear (AOG) in kentwood on 29th St. Check them out. They are winter hiking experts offering group hikes as well. They have a beginners weekend outing planned for the end of Jan. at Nordhouse Dunes along with more advanced outings also.

I have a Ford Explorer that can hold 4 to 5 people and their gear comfortably, so if any one would like car pool, let me know

New to Grand Rapids so needed some landmarks to find you. Was there but not at correct spot apparently. Hiked 3 miles anyway and it was beautiful! What a great park. Maybe I will catch up with you all next time. jeanne
