The Longmont Hiking Group was founded and organized by Suzanne Rowe, who now lives in Arizona. Fran Rew, a walker and not much of a hiker, has become the new organizer, simply because she didn't want to see this walking group disappear. Fran lives in Denver, and schedules collaborative walking group conversations in urban parks through her primary Meetup group, TopicTalkWalks.com.

Reschedule of hike of Oct. 25 which was canceled.
Hike into the headwaters of Ralph Price Reservoir (behind Buttonrock Dam) from Pinewood Springs. Approximately 8 miles RT and 1800 ft. of climb. Hike down Rattlesnake Gulch to the reservoir, along the inlet bay to North St. Vrain Creek, then out (uphill) via Coulson Gulch Trail. Moderate pace, neat scenery, and good workout.
