The Macedonia Ridge Trail includes sections of the former Appalachian Trail in Macedonia State Park in Kent plussections of the park trails. It is a loop trail beginning and ending near southern end of the park and crossing a town at each end. The sections East and West of Macedonia Brook Rd. are about the same length, but the best views are from the western half. Many other trails intercept, so other loop hikes are available. Parking at either end of the trail. The Hike is 6.7 miles. All Trails Originate At the Graveled Park Road(Macedonia Brook Rd.) Carpooling is At CVS in the Thornwood. that is the CVS that Borders Pleasantville we will be leaving at 8am sharp. This is an All Day affair. More info will be provided a week before the Hike
7:45 for Carpooling. Meet at Parking in Macedonia at 9:30 am to start.
