Introduction
Hey! Erin here. I've been an outdoors enthusiast since I can remember, but in recent years it feels like I spend more and more time cooped up. I want to meet others who love hiking and the outdoors. I can't wait to make new friends to explore with!
What types of hikes are you interested in going on (i.e hiking to bird watch)?
I am interested in anything that gets me outside. I am interested in birdwatching. I love a good gruelling hike, though I need to get in better shape before I attempt that!
Do you have any favorite trails or parks that you would like to explore with the group?
I would love to go to the Blue Ridge Parkway again. It's been years since I've been out there.
Tell us about your hiking experience
When I was very young, my twin brother and I adventured all over the farms and woods that surrounded our house. My family often took trips to the mountains to go days hiking. Most exotic place I've been is Alaska but sadly, we didn't hike very much.
