Introduction: I like hiking, backpacking, canoeing, and camping. I've been looking for some people to go with. I have been a volunteer at Rock Springs 20 years. I lead hikes, worked with the kids during the summer programs (until a job change).
What do you most hope to get from being a member of our group?: I hope to find people that like to do the same things that I like to do, get out more, and find new places to go.
How long have you been hiking?: I have hiked about 50 years. As soon as I was old enough, I explored the woods near my house all the time. I am still doing it today.
If you could hike anywhere in the world tomorrow, where would it be?: Yellowstone National Park and the Ozark Trail in Missouri
What has been your most memorable hike?: Last fall in the Shawnee Forest on a frosty morning. The sun came out and the frost was dripping from the trees as the leaves started to fall like snow. It was the kind of day you never forget.
