Introduction

I finished my last NH48 peak July 2008 and the NE 67 4k footers in October 2008. I'm working on the NE 100 highest(19 left) and the Northeast 115. I hike year round.

What is the most strenuous/difficult hike you have done?

The most difficult hike was Humphreys Peak (12663 ft) with high winds and snow covered ridge. This is the only time when I felt that I would not be able to make it to the summit. I almost turned around with only 200 ft more to climb... but made it.

What are your hiking goals?

Now that I have hiked many of the New England mountains I would like to expand my hiking experience further west. I would love to go explore in some national parks. I've hike through the Grand Canyon from the south rim to Roaring Springs and back.

What level hiker are you?

Intermediate to advanced, I guess.

What is your hiking experience?

I've completed the 67 highest peaks in NE and am on my way to completing the 100 highest. I have also done a few 4k footers in the winter and some lesser in elevation. I would say my experience is pretty extensive-I've hiked in the snow, rain, heat..
