Who wants to hike tomorrow?!? That's right I am posting today for tomorrows hike, that means most people won't even see this until the hike has already started. Basically a couple of us decided last minute to go hiking and we thought we would post it here and see if anyone wants to come with. We will be going up the Flume slide and hiking Liberty too. This is a level 5 hike, maybe an extreme level 4. We are going to drive up there and if the weather is too crappy to hit the slide we are going to hit Hale and Zealand instead. Please only sign up if you are interested in doing both hike because we won't know what we are doing until we get to Franconia notch.

I plan to keep the group moving at a good pace, faster than book time, but not insane. Please be experienced and know what to bring and expect. I don't know the mileage off the top of my head for Flume and Liberty, but Hale and Zealand is 16 miles. You should have a map anyway.

Please be sure to be at the park and ride at 6 or call and let me know if you are running a little behind, we will likely grab dunkin before heading out anyway. Have a great holiday weekend!

    •  Beautiful hike! Tinges of fall colors on top. Sunny and warm by the end. A baby bear said hello at the end.
    •  When we got to Franconia the weather was questionable so we decided to skip the Flume slide and hit Hale and Zealand instead. It was a great hike, we had a good pace and didn't get too wet.
