OHLONE REGIONAL WILDERNESS BACKPACK 20mi. 5000+ft. 3 Days, 2 Nights!

Last Winter I led a day hike up to Murietta Falls at OHLONE REGIONAL WILDERNESS & it was an AWE-INSPIRING EVENT! (MURIETTA FALLS HIKE) So I am thrilled to be returning for 3 days & 2 nights of further exploration! Additionally, I recently organized a overnight backpack at the SUNOL end of OHLONE (SUNOL BACKPACKING OVERNIGHT!) which was a BLAST and a good primer for this event! NEEDLESS to say, this is going to be another AWESOME & FUN BACKPACKING trip and I CAN'T WAIT!! It will be a GREAT opportunity to spend time with old and new friends, try out new-gear and fine-tune your backpacking skills for upcoming summer trips!

ITINERARY:
DAY 1-Friday May 2nd: Meet at Del Valle and hike 6 to 7.5miles 3700ft. Optional side-trip to Murietta Falls. Overnight at Stewart's Camp (elevation 3160ft.)
DAY 2-Saturday May 3rd: 4 miles 1000+ft. Stewart's Camp to Maggie's Half Acre. Plenty of time today to explore surrounding trails & areas including nearby ROSE PEAK.
DAY 3-Sunday May 4th: 10 Miles 1500+ft. Break camp after breakfast and return to our cars at Del Valle.
