Details

I'm looking for a few dedicated advanced hikers that want to go fast on the Sycamore Trail in Umstead this Saturday. If your up for the challenge then please join me.

We will maintain a steady 3.5 - 4 miles per hour pace on this hike so expect the group to be moving quickly. This is an advance level hike so everyone is expected to keep up!! WE WILL NOT WAIT FOR STRAGGLERS. If you become separated from the group it will be your responsibility to find your way back to the trailhead. RSVPing YES is your acknowledgment that you understand and accept the rules that have been defined for this hike. There are park maps at the Visitor Center if you are unsure of the park trails. Please be on time we have a 5 minute grace period before we hit the trail.
