The Raleigh Recreational Hikers Meetup Group
|
Welcome to the Raleigh Recreational Hikers Meetup group. We are a group of amateur hiking enthusiasts who enjoy the outdoors and getting some exercise with people we know and like. We'd be delighted to have you join with us. We have done a bunch of different hikes as well as some really fun social events. I encourage you to look through our calendar and discover for yourself what we're all about. A couple rules of the road, err trail: 1) Please read "About Us" and answer our profile questions before joining or participating in any of our events. We don't mean to be too negative but hiking can be dangerous and we just want everyone on the same page. 2) Many of our events are "over-subscribed." That means more people want to attend than the organizer believes can be accomodated. So, if your plans change and you CAN'T make it PLEASE change your RSVP. Okay? 3) We welcome your feedback. Please don't hesitate to email me at wwalsh@nc.rr.com with questions or comments. Like anyone else we'd prefer carefully written and upbeat criticism but we'll take any we can get! RRH is a wonderful group of people I just love being around. Join us!
