Lovell Gulch offers stimulating diversity on its 5.5-mile loop, including varied terrain, interesting ecosystems, and a wealth of wildflowers. Typically, late June is the best time to catch peak bloom.
This is a moderate hike. Count on 3 hours.
Please eat a good breakfast, take plenty of water and bring a snack. Dogs a welsome.
Five dollars is the suggested donation.

    This sounds like a fantastic hike and would love to go. However, I'm leaving that morning to go camping up in Steamboat Springs area (Pearl Lake) for 5 days, so I won't be able to make this one. By the way, does anyone have any suggestions for a good hike up in the Steamboat Springs area that they can recommend? Preferably something not too strenuous just yet...I'm 2 months into healing up from an ankle injury. Thanks!
