Hey Guys!

And now for something completely different: a sunset hike in King Canyon.

It is really fun to go down there in the evening, I've seen patch-nose snakes and tarantulas
more than once. Also, at about 30 minutes in, there are some petroglyphs in the rocks.

We're going for a short hike up the wash to the petroglyphs and then the picnic area.
Bring some snacks to share. We'll hang out for a bit, then head back.

BRING A FLASHLIGHT, just in case.

Meet in the trailhead parking lot. If you pass the desert museum, there is an enormous elevated gravel parking area up a block and on the opposite side of the museum.

    we'll do a 3 mile loop that goes by the mine!
