Oyster Dome is a 300-foot cliff that overhangs the Puget Sound just South of Larrabee State Park, offering spectacular views of Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands. The Mountaineers rate this hike as a "Top 10" winter hike. The trail stays snow free year round. This hike follows the Pacific Northwest Trail (PNT) from Puget Sound to just before the Dome. Along the way you will see old growth firs, huge boulders, small lakes and even a live beaver dam.
(Please note, this is a fairly strenuous hike. It is up to each hiker to make sure they are in adequate physical condition.)
