Estimated attendance:  4  people attended.

From I-25:

Go West (towards the mountains) for 2.5 miles
Turn Left onto 30th Street
The Visitor & Nature Center will be on the left (a little over a mile)

"How Did Those Red Rocks Get There?"
Learn the history of the Park and the Pikes Peak region of Colorado and find out how those red rocks got there! You haven't seen the Park until you've seen the show!
Your whole family will enjoy this exciting, entertaining, and educational theater presentation! Here, the Garden of the Gods Park and the magnificent red rocks will come alive in a fast-paced, fascinating, 12-minute, multi-media adventure. This stunning movie uses time-lapse photography and four screens, including one 20x30 foot screen with laser lights and more.
The movie runs every 20 minutes in the summer and every 30 minutes in the winter.
$2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children. Groups of 10 or more qualify for a group discount of $1.00 per person.

After the presentation (if you decide to watch it) we'll head down to the gift shop area and regroup and then start the hike. There are many trails but I think we'll start with the SCOTSMAN/BUCKSKIN CHARLIE TRAIL. It's a moderate trail that loops through the Park. We'll enjoy the distant views of the Central Garden formations from these rolling, rocky trails. The trails within the Garden of the Gods are like Highway 101?they are all interconnected. Dogs on a 6-foot leash are allowed in the Garden of the Gods Park. There is one designated area where dogs can run unleashed; south of Gateway Road, West of 30th Street, and east of Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site.
The Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Both the Park and Visitor Center are Free and open to the public.

I am heading for the Scotsman/Buckskin Charlie Trail, right? I am sure they will have a map at the visitor center or at least someone that can point me in the right direction.
