Meeting Description: hi all,
Michelle has arranged for a group trip to raft the Lower New River on the July 4 weekend. We have a group discount rate, under Group #58891, with Class VI Outfitters.
The outfitter's site is at http://www.class-vi.c... Lots of good information there! Class VI has their own campground for tents, and a few cabins available for rent.
The plan is to do rafting on either July 4, Friday, or July 5, Saturday. Those interested in going should make their own reservations with Class VI by calling 800-252-7784, BE SURE TO MENTION GROUP # 58891.
For those who want to tent camp, the price will be about $150. This includes one raft trip, two nights camping, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the day of the raft trip.
There are a few cabins available for rent as of May14, but if one wants a cabin, it would advisable to contact Class VI ASAP.
Aside from the Lower New River trip, other rafting options are available from Class VI. Also, there are a number of good hiking trails nearby, mountain biking trails, historic sites, etc.
Since this is a holiday weekend, it would be good to make a decision soon and get the reservation with Class VI.
Michelle is going to be in Africa for a couple of weeks, so if questions, either call Class VI or contact john.cunningham@gmail. com, or call 513-289-6460.
