Profile names for those with common names Michelle, Tom, etc

For those of you with common names who don't have or want to display a picture, you may wish to consider adding the first initial from your last name in case you need to be contacted. ie Desiree W or a nickname ie Michelle "veggie" We have at times had 3 people with the same name and no picture. This would not be an issue except they have either emailed me with a blocked personal email or asked a question on a hike and when I go in to respond, I don't know who to contact. I'm sure other organizers and members have had similar experiences when wanting to contact someone from the group. Also, even if you have a picture, when you send an email, we have to go to the site, to figure out which person is writing so even those with pics may consider it. It is just a suggestion as you may prefer not to be contacted, but keep in mind if someone needs to contact you, they may not be able to find you. I don't think it is a good idea to write 4 people on a private matter to find the one it belongs too!! LOL
