"Hi! I've done a few hikes in the area since I moved here 2-1/2 years ago, but with the weather improving I feel the need to get off my treadmill and move outdoors and meet some new folks. I hope to join you all soon."

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

"My daughter and I were hiking on a Scottish island. We were looking for a ruined castle - said to be a fairy domain. We found the castle and when I went to brush off a stone to sit - a fairy bit me. I had tiny tooth marks in my wrist for days!"

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

"Haven't hiked here enough to have a favorite place."

What do you do for a living?

"Writer/Editor/Project Manager"

"Born and raised in California. Lived in London, Georgia, India, Paris, Virginia."

"I'm an amateur botanist - so love hiking and observing the flora."
