Introduction:

"We just moved here from CA last July. I have been feeling cabin fever after my 1st long Ohio winter. My husband and I love long walks and exploring the woods but I'll need to work back up to any elevation hiking."

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

"We had been camping in Yosemite for 8 days. On the last day we parked our car in the woods and walked to a lake. We left the windows down with apples & jerky in the back seat. On return we found a black bear stuffed into our Escort wagon. We actually raised our arms & yelled until it jumped out but it took my purse with it (Altoids inside)."

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

"So far I have only been to the Dayton metro-parks and Cesar Creek Res."

What do you do for a living?

"Home Maker and Air Force wife"

"From WA state, just moved from CA, and have lived in Alaska & Germany"

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

"explore the desert & woods- hopefully find old abandonded structures & take pictures"
