Introduction:

"Just moved to Cincinnati from Omaha, but have enjoyed the outdoors / hiking for many years. I am excited that there are actually hills in Cincinnati! I have done a fair bit of hiking in the Rockies (US and Canada), Pacific Northwest, and New England."

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

"I have done some pretty stupid things to try to see a bear in the wild, but still have not had the opportunity. I gave serious consideration to doing a closed (mother and cubs sighted) trail in the Canadian Rockies, but I am glad I was responsible."

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

"Waiting to discover it and I am sure I am in good hands to guide me there!"

What do you do for a living?

"I work as a marketing analyst for dunnhumby. If you have a Kroger Plus card, you know what I do. I work with your purchase history to send targeted offers to you. Great company so far... very jazzed about the new position."

Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)

"I am originally from Washington, D.C. Lived in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New Hampshire (Hanover-beautiful and on the AT), Seattle (my favorite), Indianapolis, Chicago, and Omaha. Phew. Still waiting for the job that takes me to the mountains!"

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

"Although I love to be in the mountains doing just about anything, my favorite hobby is skiing. I just got back a couple weeks ago from my first trip to Crested Butte--unbelievable terrain, uncrowded, and lovely town."
