What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

"I'm in the Badlands with my 6 and 3 year old kids. My son (6 years old) starts to run to the beginning of the trail. I laugh and run and catch him right where some people are looking. There's a 500 ft drop with no warning there. Scared? Oh yeah!"

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

"I like hiking around the lake in Sharon Woods."

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

"There's this one spot at Clifty Falls that I go off the trail, take my shoes off and walk through the water barefooted. I always take some time to enjoy my life at that spot. You can hear the waterfalls in the background & life doesn't get any better"
