"Hi everybody! I love the outdoors! I grew up in the Santa Cruz, Calif. mountains near "The Mystery Spot" and will always have great memories of the magnificent Red Woods and fragrant eucalyptus trees. I am eager to start hiking again with friends!"

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

"Too many to name just one! But, there was this one time that I was hiking with a group from UCSC in the Sierra Nevada?s and we were pretending we were human bobsleds by going down this steep 1000 foot snow covered hill head first onto a frozen lake!"

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

"Shawnee State Park in the fall... Actually just about anywhere in the fall."

"Born in Dayton, grew up in California-all over, high school in Lebanon, joined the Air Force and lived in Denver CO, Austin TX, Adana Turkey, France, Greece, Lake Placid NY, Jeffersonville & Cinn OH"

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

"Swimming, white water rafting, hiking, jumping from high places into water (bridges, cliffs, big trees with rope swings...), bon fires, relaxing and just taking it all in."
