Introduction:

"I joined so I'd have someone to hike with. Plain and simple as that! I hope to go on longer trips in the future, but, my camping equipment is old. Working on replacing."

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

"Nothing really crazy but I do remember when I was a little kid and our family was camping in the Smokies, my dad took us out to gather firewood. Suddenly, he stopped and told us to stand still - don't move. I looked up and saw a mother bear and a few cubs. They passed without incident and we went on our way. But, man, my dad was lucky we obeyed him!"

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

"I love all of the Ham. Co. parks but I probably go to Winton Woods the most. "

What do you do for a living?

"Sit at a computer all day! So, I try to get out and walk on my lunch breaks."

Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)

"Born and raised in Indiana. I lived in the Los Angeles area for 19 years, then transferred to Cincinnati where I've been every since. Currently reside in Northside."

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

"Walk and "commune" with nature."
