Introduction:

"Hi, I left New York behind and came to Cincinnati in October of 2005. I first lived in Blue Ash, chosen because I could walk/bike everwhere and wouldn't need a car. I broke down after four months and purchased my first car. I now live in Greenhills."

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

"Yosemite first day - a bear stole nearly all my food, leaving behind hard-boiled eggs, and smoked gouda. I decided to continue the hike with my small ration of food. Later a bear startled me out of sleep by ambling past me toward the creek to fish."

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

"Glendale Gardens and Sharon Woods."

What do you do for a living?

"I was a Lotus Notes programmer for 10 years, but my job was outsourced to India in April of 2003. I now design websites, and occasionally do product photographs."

Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)

"Born in Germany, parents Russian and Czech, lived in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Houston and New York. Also Vanderbilt, Michigan, 10 summers."

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

"Ice skate, dance, cross country ski, walk, bike, roller blade."
