What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

"Did see bears in the Canadian Rockies, quietly got back inside the car... to avoid being chased! Getting nearly lost in the darkness at East Fork Lake on a muddy Sunday night without a torch (never again!!) or a good map was .... uh crazy!"

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

"Red River Gorge area is great! East Fork Lake is nice too and not as far."

What do you do for a living?

"chemical engineering... nobody is perfect! ;-)"

Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)

"I am French, ended up in Cinci after 5 years in Germany and one year in the UK (fond memories of hiking in Scotland that year....)"

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

"well, hiking! what are you thinking... (although melting marshmallows around the campfire is not a bad thing...). Canoeing / Kayaking is great too, athough I still need to get my equipment."
