Kayak Demo, Stonelick Lake

hi all,
the excellent outdoor store in Milford, Nature Outfitters, is holding a kayak demo Sunday, May 18, 12 noon to 4 p.m., at the swimming beach at Stonelick Lake State Park.
this is a fundraiser to support efforts against breast cancer and prostate cancer, so there is a fee of $10 per person or $15 per family.
Nature Outfitters will have a number of kayak models to try out on the lake, so anyone who would like to try kayaking should come to Stonelick!
From I-275 or from downtown Milford, take US-50 east. keep an out out for Ohio Rt.131.
from US 50, turn left onto 131, Take OH 131 (7.1 miles).
Turn left onto OH 727 (2.9 miles).
Turn right onto Lake Drive and follow the signs to the beach.

I checked with the Stonelick lake office, they said that there is road construction going on, but it does not block the road.

THERE IS A "DETOUR, ROAD CLOSED" SIGN AT THE TURN ONTO RT.727 FROM RT.131. IGNORE THIS SIGN, THE TURN ONTO LAKE DRIVE IS BEFORE THE ROAD CLOSURE.
