Meeting Description

Who

This is a free kayak demonstration day held by Benchmark Outfitters of Blue Ash. They will have a number of different kayaks for people to try out. Benchmark employees and company sales reps will discuss various types of kayaks.

Why

This will be a great chance to try out a number of kayaks from different companies.

hi all,

there comes a time when hikers can enjoy a change of pace by taking to the water in a kayak. Benchmark outfitters is holding a free kayak demo day at Grand Valley Preserve, 8270 Glendale-Milford Rd, Camp Dennison OH 45111.

the event will be from noon to 6 pm on Saturday May 3, at the converted gravel pits. There will be dozens of kayaks to try out from several notable manufacturers, Perception, Wilderness Systems, and Dagger. Benchmakr will provide paddles and mandatory lifejackets.

DIRECTIONS--

from I-75, go East on Ronald Reagan Hwy. or, from I-71 go east on Reagan. take the Montgomery Rd Exit, off Ronald Reagan Hwy and go north on Montgomery Rd.
Then, turn right on Remington Rd, OH-126, and follow 126 as Remington Rd. turns into Glendale-Milford Rd. Grand Valley preserve is on the left.

we could perhaps do a hiker/kayaker potluck in midafternoon, also??
