Long time Westchester resident and Sierra Club member George Festa will present a program "Reflections on China and Tibet" at the Airport Marina Group's meeting on Monday, November 16, at 7:45 PM at the Community Room in Burton Chace Park in Marina Del Rey. George's program covers a cruise on the Yangtse River, visits to some of China's largest cities, and a trip to Tibet.
His program follows Sierra Club news, including environmental concerns such as the proposed development of The Village in Playa Vista.
The Community Room is located in Burton Chace Park, which is reached by driving west on Mindanao Way to its end. There is a parking lot (free) at the end of the road, and, if necessary, an overflow lot nearby.
