This will be combination hike/information party/BBQ combined into one event.

THE HIKE:
The Smugglers Cove sea caves in Palos Verdes. I have never been on this hike but understand that it is a big favorite with lots of people as the Palos Verdes shoreline has some wonderful caves and tidepools to explore. I do not know how many miles or how difficult it is, but I suspect that most people would not have a problem with doing it.

DIRECTIONS TO THE HIKE:
Take Crenshaw Blvd. south to the very end of the road. To your left you will find a nice park named Del Cerro park. Park here.

THE INFORMATION PARTY/BBQ:
I recently completed climbing Mount shasta and would like to share my experience with others. After the hike, those interested can follow me back to my house where I will be showing the pictures of my adventure, as well as demonstrating some of the equipment need to climb under such conditions. I will be cooking hot links and hamburgers as well as supplying some salads and finger food. I will also have beer, soft drinks, and water. I would like to collect $5 per person to cover the cost.

PLEASE INDICATE IN YOUR RSVP IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING THE BBQ SO I KNOW HOW MUCH FOOD TO PURCHASE AND PLEASE DON'T FLAKE!

I will be supplying directions to my house after the hike.

If people are interested in carpooling with me from my house, please contact me directly at [masked]

If anyone is in the Hollywood area and want a ride I can pick you up. I have a sports car coupe (2 dr) and the back seats are very tight but ok for this. Its a 38 mile drive from the area taking the 101- S to the 110-S to get there... contact me at [masked] with your name, number and I'll contact you to pick you up in the morning. I am doing the BBQ after.

    •  Love any hike Chris does, just wished I could have stayed for the BBQ...
    •  What a great group of people, I couldn't have asked for a nicer Sunday afternoon. At least now I know I'd never be able to climb that mountain - and Chris - well done on that bullseye!
