Meetup has created a new payment option when creating new events, Amazon Payments. We can now select either PayPal for an event, or Amazon for an event, but cannot make both options available. PayPal fee events will continue to work the way they have in the past, where you will have to RSVP "No" and then we will change your response once payment is received. With Amazon fee events, we will be able to set them up so that you are instantly counted as a "Yes" once you submit your payment, and you will be able to print a "ticket" for the event. (This method will be less confusing and much simpler for us, the organizers, to administer.) |
