Who attended?

    •  A few glitches with the planned trail being "out of order", but John quickly came up with an alternative that helped us to meet our goals for the hike with minimal disruption.
    •  John is the best--a great bunch!
    •  Great hike. Nice weather. Good company. Thanks, John.

It was a great time, perfect weather and, as always, a great group. However, this was the second "point-to-point" trip I've been on and because of the difficulty of ferrying people back and forth, I prefer a circular route and would encourage more of these. Thanks for organizing it!
    •  Had a wonderful time and met some nice people, several turtles, two snakes, at least a dozen types of birds and a BIG spider -:) Looking forward to more fun on another hike.
    • Old John (+1 guest)
       great history and nature
    •  The weather was very good - not too hot. Even though part of the trail was closed, it worked out perfectly as the break gave us time to have a quick lunch and pick up the trail on the other side. The distance still gave us 9 miles of hiking.
    •  Nice and friendly group of people. I enjoyed the hike and conversation.
    •  I have never been before it was good to get out of the Chicagoland area.
    •  Good hike. Interesting history.
