Send an Email Post a Greeting
To the ones who are on "Yes" List and to the ones on waiting list who get moved to 'Yes' list.

1. Meetup Details: Read all the info from Top to Bottom on meetup detail page before you come out for this hike on Sat.

2. Your RSVP :If by now,you are not 100% sure that you will be coming to the hike. Please, change your RSVP to 'NO' so that people on the waiting list( there are 54 ppl on waiting list ) can go.

3. No show or late cancellations :Anybody who changes their RSVP to 'No' less than 24 hours before the hike or even worse does not show up on Sat on hike will be marked as 'No show'. This will adversely affect your likelihood to hike with me in future. Also,in general, after you have 3 'No shows' , you may be removed from the group.

4. Dress in layers( No cotton, please) which you can easily take off and put back on. You will be taking layers off and putting them back at least once (for sure) to (maybe) many times throughout the hike.

5. This Hike is very Strenuous. There are many extremely steep sections. Please, know your limits so everyone can enjoy the hike.

6. Pace :This hike will be done at moderate rate. We will take time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery with short snack breaks but will start moving before our body starts to cool down

7. This is a group hike. The group must stay together at all times. So, please be ready to adjust your speed either by slowing down or getting some adrenaline running in you to keep up with the grp. If you do not plan to stay with the group, please change your RSVP to 'NO'.

8. Steep sections will be covered by moving constantly in small steps and using caterpillar technique with quick water sipping breaks and to catch breath.

9.Hiking poles are highly recommended for this hike. If you have hiking poles/ sticks or can borrow from somebody, do carry them with you to the hike. They will going to be extremely useful on steep section, on loose rocks ,and while descending.

10. Fluids and Water filter: Bring extra fluids than you think you will need in this 10.5 mile hike. If you have water filter, bring along.

11. Whistle: Bring with you a whistle ,if you have one, to use in emergency or in case you get accidentally separated from the group.

12. Maps: Please, bring hike map along with you.

13. Cost: Bring Cash to share gas cost and park entrance fee among people in the car you are riding in.

14. Weather: Hike will be canceled if there will be more than 60% prep chances. Keep an eye on weather here: http://www.weather.co...

15. Last but not least : Please, come with an adventurous cheerful mood!!!
