Weather forecast has become less favorable (80% rain). However, the hike will be on RAIN OR SHINE.

For those interested in carpooling at a metro station, please communicate with each other. If anyone wish to go but could not secure a ride before 5 pm Friday. Please let me know and I'll make arrangements.
Feel free to email me or call me at (703) 855-2500

Hiking Upward estimates the hike to be 5 hours. I've added a half hour for additional stops at the water falls and pools. This hike is more for entertainment than exercise.

White Oak is a nice trail, water is its main attraction. So if there is ever a hike I'll take under the rain, this is it.

But I will certainly be posting more hikes to White Oak and other trails in the near future. So if you are worried about the rain, wait for another hike on a better day in the future.

For anyone who wish to dare the dark clouds, the falling sky, and the muddy slippery path, this hike is ON.
