Come join us on a 7 mile hike along Mill Mountain within the George Washington National Forest outside of Woodstock, VA. There are some beautiful views along the ridge.

Although Hikingupward.com says the hike is 11.6 miles(7.5 hours), I'm told by someone who hiked it last year that it's really only 7.5 miles (4.5 hours). http://www.hikingupwa...

For those interested in car pooling, let's meet at the Vienna Metro North side parking lot (exits onto 66W) at 7:45am. During this time of year, there may be several other organizations meeting at this parking lot as well, so I'll try to remember to bring a small sign.

It's about an 1hr 40min drive, so if you want to meet at the base of the hike, we should be there before 10am. Here are the directions below-- (cut-n-paste the whole link into your browser)
