Introduction
I love to hike and am relatively new to Virginia. In Connecticut I developed a successful hiking meetup group of my own but I am now happy mostly being a "follower, while I focus on other areas of my life.
What else do you like to do in your free time?
I don't have any free time.
Where would you like to go hiking?
Anywhere where I can feel away from it all.
How long have you been hiking?
Probably about 30 years, on and off.

"I checked the park website and it says the Visitor's Center is closed, but the park is open. I also called and confirmed that. Since there's plenty of interest, I will go ahead and commit to doing this hike. ..."

"Hello Lisa. I apologize for missing your hike today. I got home much later last night than I expected, so I couldn't get up early enough for the hike. However, in the future, is there any way that you can designate a neutral meeting area for us to carpool from? There were not directions to the trailhead from the website, so many people found out only a few hours before the hike how long it would take to get to the trailhead. Maybe we can all meet at a certain time at Centreville Park N Ride."
