- I'm a transplanted Kansas girl. I grew up under the care of two awesome parents who firmly believe kids should be outside playing unless they are asleep; I haven't grown up yet. I think Las Vegas needs more good climbing trees!
- Why did you join the Las Vegas Hiking and Outdoors Meetup?

I love to stomp around - climb, hike, swim, ski, jump off things, and get dirty! It's just more fun when you share the experience with others.
- Where would you most like the group to go on an outing?

O geez...this is where we find out how little I know about the area I live in. I'd really just like to check out the Grand Canyon from the bottom sometime. I tried to fill that hole with rocks once when I was a kid. I hear it didn't work.
- Where is the most scenic place you've ever hiked or camped?

I hiked between the five cities that make up the area called "Cinque Terra" in Italy during college; that was pretty sweet.
- How did you get started hiking, or what has gotten you back in to it?

There are just too many cool places to tramp outside around here. Plus there's nothing on TV until football season starts up again! ;)

“ Doggone it, I wish I could be there for your FIRST meetup. I've been back with this group for about two weeks now and have done a 3 mile hike to La Madre and a 4.5 mile one to Trail Canyon Trail and Cave Springs. I'd say nature beats the clubs any day. ”
