- I have met some excellent hiking partners in this group, not to mention many new friends. Come on out and enjoy some beautiful trails with some wonderful people.
- Why did you join the Las Vegas Hiking and Outdoors Meetup?

Mostly to meet new people. I am very gregarious, and not many of my friends shared my passion for the outdoors. By joining this group, I have been able to meet many new friends who share one of the things I enjoy most.
- Where would you most like the group to go on an outing?

Yosemite National Park. I haven't yet been there myself, but I'm positive it will live up to my grandest expectations.
- Where is the most scenic place you've ever hiked or camped?

West Rim Trail at Zion. The first time I went, I backpacked it, and wound up having to hobble out with 2nd degree burns on my feet. The next time, a buddy and I did it as a day trip and it was awesome! Most recently, I took the hiking group up.
- How did you get started hiking, or what has gotten you back in to it?

I started hiking out at Red Rock when I was about 11 to overcome my fear of heights. I loved the rush of adrenaline I got from scrambling all over Calico. That enjoyment eventually cementend in to a general love of the outdoors.
