Magic Mountain's Thrills & Sequoia National Park's Beauty in one weekend!

Aloha fellow Fun lovers,

We are in for a real treat this weekend! Further proving how fortunate we are here in Las Vegas. A four hour carpool to Six Flags Magic Mountain puts us in one of the finest & Funnest Theme Parks in all of North America! Magic Mountain has been creating new and exhilarating rides for kids and adult kids for many years now. They are even opening up a brand new rollercoaster called X-2 on this very Saturday which sports a couple unique features. The park has more than a dozen coasters and tons of other thrilling rides sure to keep our kids and our own inner child smiling from ear to ear all day!

Around 90 miles from our adventures in Magic Mountain sit Sequoia National Forest & Giant Sequoia National Monument, which are named after the world's largest trees, the giant sequoia. These amazing trees can grow to be 40 feet wide at their base and 275 feet tall! And the landscape is as spectacular as its 38 groves of Giant Sequoia. Here ~ majestic granite monoliths, glacier-torn canyons, scenic trails, roaring whitewater and lush meadows await your discovery in this magical place of unforgettable Beauty!

I always realize during & after a great weekend adventure away from the mundane and with other Joyful spirits that we've become even better friends. And we've had a ton of Fun along the way! Come join us in Joy!

The meeting fee covers parking fees at Magic Mountain on Saturday, all-day access to the park and accomodations Sat. night.

We'll be meeting on Saturday morning at 7am to carpool out to Magic Mountain. This way we'll arrive about 11:30 am (the park is open til' 10pm)! Our meetup location is on the rooftop of the South Point Hotel's parking garage. The South Point is located on the SW corner of Las Vegas Blvd. & Silverado Ranch. There is an exit on I-15 for Silverado Ranch that will bring you directly to the South Point.

Items you'll want to bring include:

• a comfortable pair of tennis shoes and/or hiking boots/sandals
  
• water proof sunblock (for log flume type rides)
  
• sunglasses, hat, SPF lip balm
  
• pack to carry water, snacks, etc. in
  
• your smile & healthy sense of adventure!
  

Depending on whether we choose to stop for dinner outside Las Vegas, we should be back in town between 9 & 10pm. Fun-filled, more relaxed & Joyously Blissful amidst our newfound and deeply enhanced friendships!
