Be a master of the trail and hike the Trail Canyon Trail...

***It's supposed to be 100 degrees on Saturday. Let's take a nice cool hike!***

About the hike: This is the 1st part of the North Loop to Mt. Charleston Peak. We will go to the junction where there is a neat overlook of the town and then hike back down.

Length: It is 2 miles one way.

Difficulty:
This is NOT a walk in the park! This is a GREAT and WONDERFUL workout. This is a pretty strenuous hike.

Elevation gain:
Almost 1500 ft. (It's more strenuous than Mary Jane Falls.)

Speed: I like to walk at a BRISK pace.

Time: This will probably take about 3-4 hours depending on how much time we hang out on the top.

This would be a great hike for your four-legged friends!

Where to meet: We will meet at Starbucks off of the 95 and Durango. We will carpool up to the trailhead.

When: I will be there at 8:20AM. WE WILL LEAVE AT 8:30AM!

What to bring: Snacks, Sunscreen (IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE HOT), Water (I'll bring 3 32-ounce bottle = 96 ounces)
***Please also offer a few dollars if you are a passenger in a carpool up to the trailhead.***

Nicole did a WONDERFUL job making sure that no one was left behind on the trail. We took multiple breaks to make sure of it. :-)
    •  That was very nice hike. After we took a short stop at the saddle, we got an extra mile for Cave Spring. Thanks Nicole & Skip!
