Introduction

I'm a pretty hardcore hiker, a mechanical engineer working on the space program, and a single mother with a nearly empty nest. I love to try new things and challenge myself.

What is your favorite local hiking excursion?

I've started exploring some of the Patapsco trails. I like the fact that I don't have to drive very far and can just start hiking.

Where would you most like to hike that you haven't yet?

Mount Kilimanjaro
